A Celebration: Pet Protect Guelph receives $13,750 from the Eric S Margolis Foundation to continue their vital work within the Guelph community
Pet Protect Guelph is honoured and excited to announce that the Eric S Margolis has once again help to fund Pet Protect Guelph’s work. Pet Protect Guelph (PPG) is a pet fostering program designed to offer a temporary home to pets of marginalized populations within the City of Guelph. This can include those that are precariously housed, women fleeing domestic violence, those undergoing mental, medical or addictions treatment. Since its inception in January 2018, PPG has fostered more than 30 pets. Pet Protect Guelph is partnered with the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition.
This grant received from the Margolis Foundation will help to fund essential veterinary care, pet food and supplies, and other administrative costs associated with the program. As a non-profit, we rely solely on donations and grants to run our program. “We truly appreciate that the Eric S Margolis Foundation continues to see the importance of keeping pets and families together during times in need”, shares Liz Vardon, the Executive Director of Pet Protect Guelph.
